Donna Karan will launch a tableware collection comprising service pieces, stemware, barware, and flatware, reports WWD.
Groups have names such as Devoré, Gold Dust and Platinum Voile, featuring bone china in abstract textures and metal finishes; Donna Karan Singing Bowls, with brass and precious-metal bowls; Wave and Pleats Barware, crystal pieces that are mouth-blown and hand-carved, and Illumination, a collection of stemware that takes its cues from the New York skyline at night.
Priced from $25 to $3,000, the items will be sold at specialty and department stores.
So it's Restaurant Week in Phoenix! That means some of our fabulous favorites are giving us a 3+ course meal at the scandulous price of $30-$40. In other words it's time to grab a fork people!
Now the sheer genius of it all is that the Restaraunt Week people have created a chart with carrots and all to show us Veggies who is catering to us highly intelligent and sexy masses. But be warned-check the menu first, I don't what qualifies as vegetarian options to some people,but really some of the standards here are really lose.
Off to Vincent's on Camelback. An oldie but a goodie....

Spinach Salad with Peaches, Strawberries and Mozzarella with a Sherry Wine Vinaigrette
Portobello and Polenta Mushroom Tower with Sautéed Spinach
Pineapple Coconut Pie with Rum Raisin Ice Cream
Chocolate Profiteroles
Now how did I get an extra app and dessert ...just bring along a date who will share! Viola!
The brie lacked a bit of finesse, the salad suprisingly savory, entree prepared well though the sauce needed a kick, and the desserts...well Im glad I had 2- delish! Oh and go with the Pinot Noir ...it's divine!
